Ok here it is THE OFFICIAL PATCH FROM BLIZZARD Yes it's virus free. THIS ONLY WORKS WITH SINGLEPLAYER

Installation:
1. go to C:/program files/diablo ii take the entire diablo 2 folder and copy it somewhere else (backup reasons) and create a new shortcut to diablo 2.exe
2. Reinstall the game DO NOT UPDATE TO 1.13
3. Run the installer and there you go now you can use all the great mods such as mMap, hyperjoin, plugY, Symbiote

Or you can use this method just reinstall the game to a different directory then you will have 2 diablo 2 installs 1 for multiplayer (1.13) and 1 for the other patch
